High Tensile


High Tensile Steels are special constructional steels which develop high yield, tensile and fatigue strengths, as well as excellent toughness when subjected to a quenching and tempering. (Supplied in the hardened and tempered condition)
4140

  • W-Nr 1.7225, AS 4140, BS EN19A, AISI 4140
  • Description:- Cr Mo steel for applications requiring high tensile strength and toughness values, in particular in medium and large cross sections in the quenched and tempered condition.
  • Size Range:- Rd 10mm - 650mm, Hollow 45/28 - 200/140mm, Hex 19 - 75mm A/F, Sq 28mm - 127mm, Fl 76.2x38.1mm, Chrome Bar 19.05mm - 101.6mm, Ground 12.7mm - 110mm (H9 Toll), Peeled & Polished 19.05mm - 101.6mm (H11 Toll).

  • Description:- Ni Cr Mo steel for applications requiring high tensile strength and toughness values, particularly in large cross sections in the quenched and tempered condition.
  • Size Range:- Rd 9mm-410mm, Sq 16mm, Fl 76.2x50.8mm

EN-25

  • W-Nr 1.6743, AS X9931, BS EN25
  • Description:- 21/2% Ni Cr Mo alloy steel with increased strength due to the Ni content. Supplied in the hardened and tempered condition.
  • Size Range:- Rd 7.94mm- 260mm, Sq 300mm

EN26

  • W-Nr 1.6745, AS X9940, BS 970 826 M 40
  • Description:- 21/2% Ni Cr Mo alloy steel with higher C content. Supplied in the hardened and tempered condition. Higher strength than EN25.
  • Size Range:- Rd 32mm - 360mm

V136

  • UNS K32550, AMS 6418
  • Description:- V136 is also known as Hy-Tuf a high strength low alloy steel. It is typically used 1500/1650Mpa tensile strength range. At this strength level the alloy has good ductility, fracture toughness and impact strength.

  • AISI 4145H Mod.API Spec.7
  • Description:- 45% C Cr Mo alloyed steel normally used in oil field pplications.
